That’s really all a Mental Health Treatment Plan is. You and your doctor getting together and working out:

  • What your mental health needs are
  • What help you require – your medical, physical, psychological and social needs are all considered
  • What result you would like
  • What treatment would be best for you

and writing it all down. As an added benefit, once you and your doctor have agreed upon a plan, you may be eligible for rebates on appointment fees with your therapist/social worker/psychologist. If you want to know more about this, please book an appointment with your GP.
